In order to lose a life, you must either return to the main menu manually by pausing the game and pressing the respective button, or have your Plane destroyed midway by an enemy. After completing a Stage successfully, your Plane is retained for the next use, which means your life tally is not affected.In the mobile version, the number of Planes/lives you have in the hangar is indicated, originally with a maximum capacity of ten, which later increases by three with the "Larger Hangar" Bonus Card. Right below this is the button that you press to start the Stage. Once all four Medals are acquired for a certain mode, the next one is unlocked. Their names clearly imply the conditions that are needed to be fufilled in order for them to be achieved. Insane: Your screen will be scrolling down noticeably faster, giving even less time to whittle down enemies alongside themselves becoming more resistant to firepower damage.Hard: Enemies get tougher and more defensive, an ideal spike of a challenge if you are retaining the magnitude of your Plane's combat ability.Normal: The easiest and starting Difficulty mode of every Stage, with merely just a satisfactory effort needed with adequate firepower to rapidly blast away enemies.In this event, players and their in-game friends battle in endless Stages, accumulating scores to compete with each other. When they are destroyed, they provide increasingly large amounts of Stars and points that are added to the respective tallies.Ī special Tournament Stage is available for play during the weekends. The same enemies in a certain Stage also get more defensive in a high Difficulty Mode.It is worth noting that the screen scrolling speed in the PC version is slower than that in the mobile versions to balance out the difference between control on the two versions. Your Plane will fly faster and faster across the Stage as the Difficulty Mode gets more intense, which will give you increasingly less time to fend off enemies that count to your tally.To progress up the order of Difficulty Modes, all Medals on the preceding Difficulty Mode must be acquired. Each Stage begins with only the Normal Difficulty Mode.Insane is the most intense of the Difficulties available for play until clearing Stage 13 for the first time, when the Nightmare Mode is unlocked for all Stages with the Insane Difficulty perfected. A total of four Difficulty Modes are featured, which are Normal, Hard, Insane and Nightmare. Your Plane shoots its own firepower all the way till the end of a Stage.Ī total of 16 Stages are available for play in all, with the 13 main sequence story line Stages and 3 Bonus Stages ( B1, B2, B3).Controlling the Plane about the screen requires holding down on the mouse while moving it around, or moving your mouse while holding on a certain key. The control system is as such completely different and less convenient than that of the mobile versions. A widescreen version has also been developed for play on PC/Console, and you can find it on platforms like PlayStation, Steam and Xbox.(An additional finger is to be added for performing Main Weapon Supercharge) If you are playing the game on this kind of devices, your Plane's movements will be controlled using your finger.
